Suppose you are asked to give advice on whether to attend college at home or abroad, write an essay to state your opinion. You are required to write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

Along with the development of society, more and more problems are brought to our attention, one of the most serious problem is that whether to attend college at home or abroad.

According to a survey, some people are in favor of the idea of getting higher education at home. They point out the factor that studying at home gives them a sense of security, which means, the help from family or friends is always available whenever they encounter some troubles; they also argue that experiencing cultural shock is unavoidable and terrible for students studying overseas, so the “homeland higher education” makes life happier and then they will concentrate more on their curriculums.

Other people who stand on the different ground. They firmly point out that studying overseas enables them to be independent and try their best to adapt to every aspect abroad. Many employers say graduates from universities abroad are better at analyzing and solving problems on their own.

It is difficult to say which one is better, as it depends very much on

the situation of the students’ own intention and family financial background. However, from a personal point of view, studying overseas allows people to make more friends, try more foods and appreciate more places.

英语四六级方法

1、第一要做好心理筹备。紧张不利于理解，只有放松情绪，听觉器官才能对声音信号作出敏锐的反映，进而提升思维理解能力。因此假如考试前感到紧张，可以做一下深呼吸或想些与考试无关的事情。如此就比较容易把精力集中起来，从而获得好的听力成效。

2、理解好题意，做到心中有数。刚发下试题的时候，第一应该把题中所问的问题大体浏览一遍，作到心中有数，如此做有哪些好处是：第一，可以判断所听内容，第二，依据上下文能够帮助预测答案。如此在听录音的时候，大家就能不免紧张，可以有针对性的去听，探寻有效信息。这是做听力题的最重要首要条件。假如在考试开始就过度紧张而忽略了题意，就会导致本应该完成得很好的题从手中错过。减少做题效率。

3、抢用短文，预测听写内容。听写的短文一般在100-200字左右，共重复三遍。考生可借助听指令前的空隙，略看一下短文，做到有些放矢。去年6月份英语四级考试中的听写文章：考生扫一眼便会了解是一篇关于policeman和他们的job的事，如此就不会措手不及，心慌意乱，影响正常水平的发挥了。

4、用速记办法，从文中找出答案。必须要防止只顾记下听写的第一单词，而后面的几句后匆匆而过，来不及填写第二个空的状况针。我觉得在考试中应使用速记办法，飞速记下每一个听到的单词。所说的速记就是用一些简单的符号。缩写、字母记下所听到的内容，不让每一个单词漏网。
